Universal Declaration on the Right Use of
Knowledge
Preamble
- Considering that knowledge is a
force,
- Considering that this force can
elevate or destroy,
- Considering that humanity is
now threatened by the corrupted use of its own genius,
We, free and awakened consciences, proclaim the necessity of knowledge enlightened by conscience, guided by wisdom, and rooted in the living world.
Article
1 – Knowledge is not neutral
Knowledge carries intention. It must serve life and never become a form of
power.
It must serve the common good, human dignity, and respect for the natural
world.

2 – Conscience precedes knowledge
All knowledge must be permeated by conscience.
Science without conscience is the ruin of the soul, and technology without
ethics is the ruin of the world.
Article
3 – Nature is our first model
All that is just, beautiful, and true within us comes from Nature.
Culture must not rise against it, but in continuation of it.
Article
4 – Knowledge must unite, not divide
Nothing exists by itself.
All is interdependence, all is relationship.
Knowledge must weave connections, not build walls.
Article
5 – Knowledge is not a commodity
Knowledge must not be captured by self-interest or subjected to business logic.
It is common heritage, a universal good, a sacred resource.

6 – Knowledge must serve peace
Every application of knowledge must aim for inner peace, social peace, and
ecological peace.
Warlike, manipulative, or destructive knowledge is a betrayal of intelligence.

7 – Knowledge must be humble
True knowledge recognizes its limits.
It does not claim to explain, control, or foresee everything.
It bows before mystery and converses with doubt.

8 – Common knowledge must be shared
Knowledge must not be confiscated by an elite.
It must circulate freely, be transmitted, cultivated, and democratized.

9 – Knowledge must be embodied
Knowledge is only of value if it transforms the being.
It must nourish right action, truthful speech, and a loving gaze.

10 – Good knowledge must be celebrated and malice denounced
Knowledge is a celebration of open-mindedness, but it must not be permissive.
It must be celebrated in joy, beauty, and gratitude.
Epilogue
May this declaration be a call to lucidity, responsibility, Ethics, and
Otherness.
May knowledge cease to be an instrument of domination, and become once again a
path to understanding.
May humanity rediscover meaning, right measure, and wonder.
